The LJ_Zoo25 template has an animal paw as a favicon. I have found the favicon in www\sitename\templates\lj_zoo25 as favicon.ico

I made a new favicon.ico as a 16x16 icon file and then named it favicon.ico and named the original as favicon-old.ico ... in the hope the browser would render the new.

It ignored the change completely and is refusing to use the new 16x16 ico file. This would suggest that the actual favicon is being held somewhere else.

Can you tell me where, or at least how to change it?

Duh! ... it would seem a refrsh does not update the favicon for some reason. Close and open the browser and head back to the page and "boom" the favicon has changed.
