I have just installed a clean Joomla 2.5.8 and then followed precisely from 5.2.2 to 5.3.2 after setting the template using the Zip file to LJ_Zoo25 and after adding the Article I see the following on the rendered page ... (attached file)

"Strict standards: Non-static method JSite::getMenu() should not be called statically, assuming $this from incompatible context in D:\wamp\www\davesplaybox\templates\lj_zoo25\classes\ArtxContentSingleArticle.php on line 41"

and

"Strict standards: Non-static method JApplication::getMenu() should not be called statically, assuming $this from incompatible context in D:\wamp\www\davesplaybox\includes\application.php on line 539"

The versions of things I am using are
Joomla 2.5.8 Stable Full Package
Wampserver 2.2

Any ideas what is the issue, it would seem its the template fightingback with some method conflicts but I see nothing different in use than was used on your excellent training day

Hi Dave

This looks like an issue with Wampserver. I am investigating how to change the configuration of WAMP to get this working.

I'll get back to you shortly.
